Most Belgian business websites cost between €1,500 and €8,000. A one-pager can be done for less; a custom site with integrations easily passes €20,000. Where you land depends on four things: the number of templates, how custom the design is, what it connects to, and who builds it.
The usual price bands
Belgian agency guides converge on roughly the same ranges. Prices exclude VAT.
| Type of site | Typical price |
|---|---|
| One-pager | €500 – €1,500 |
| Small business site, 5–10 pages | €1,500 – €3,500 |
| Larger company site, 10+ pages | €3,500 – €8,000 |
| Webshop (WooCommerce, Shopify) | €5,000 – €15,000 |
| Custom site with integrations | €8,000 – €20,000+ |
Web apps sit on a different scale. Custom web apps commonly run from €8,000 to €25,000 for a first version, and client portals start around €3,000.
What moves a quote up or down
- Templates, not pages. Ten pages built from three templates cost less than five pages that each look different.
- Custom design or a theme. A theme is cheaper to start and harder to change later; a custom design costs more up front and fits your brand exactly.
- Integrations. A booking tool, a CRM, a product catalogue or a member login each add design and build time.
- Languages. A second language is more than translation: every template has to hold longer Dutch or French words.
- Who builds it. Belgian freelancers average about €84 an hour, agencies €90 to €150 or more. Day rates hide the real cost; ask what a comparable project cost in total.
Where Viribus sits
We publish our starting prices because most studios do not. A custom marketing site starts at €4,000 and a web app or product interface at €12,000. Every site is designed in Figma on a small design system and built in React, so the design you approve is the one that ships.
That puts us above template shops and below large product agencies. If a simpler tool is the better fit for your project, we will tell you.
Questions to ask any studio
- What is included, and what costs extra after launch?
- Who owns the code, the domain and the hosting account?
- Can we see a live site you built, not only screenshots?
- How often will we see the work while it is being built?
- What happens if we want changes halfway?
A note on the KMO-portefeuille
Flemish SMEs often ask whether the KMO-portefeuille covers a website. Since 1 February 2026 the advice part is limited to cybersecurity, so building a website or app generally does not qualify. Check with VLAIO for your situation.
