01 / The problem
Streaming apps show you a wall of posters. Choosing still takes longer than the episode.
What’s Next? is a product we make and run ourselves. It keeps your watchlist, tracks the shows you follow and puts every upcoming release in a personal calendar, across all your services.
The home screen does the choosing for you: one pick at a time, based on what you have watched. Not interested? Show another, mark it as seen, or tell it “not for me” so it learns.
02 / The system
Near-black, one red, glass on top.
A cinema-dark palette lets the poster art carry the colour. One red, used as a gradient, marks the action that matters on each screen and the active tab in the dock. A geometric display face sets titles and ratings; a soft, round sans keeps the synopses easy to read.

03 / The build
An app, without the app store.
Built in React and Vite on live data from TMDB. It is a Progressive Web App, so it installs to the home screen and works offline like a native app. A floating dock keeps Home, Search, Calendar, Library and Profile one tap away on every screen.
04 / Screens

The home pick, desktop and phone.
05 / The result
What we watch.
What’s Next? is live, so these are real measures.
